Thrive Forward Solutions operates through two core initiatives that meet people and organizations at different stages of capacity and readiness. While each initiative serves a distinct purpose, both are connected through the Real Talk Lounge—our shared space for guided conversation, education, and community connection.

Two initiatives, one mission.

Direct support for real life
Helping individuals navigate growth, identity, transitions, and everyday challenges

Facilitated community groups
Men’s Group and Prideful Group led with care, structure, and openness

Guided conversations & reflection
Space to talk, listen, learn, and grow at your own pace

Practical tools, not pressure
Optional worksheets and resources that support—not overwhelm

Action through consistency
Small, intentional steps supported by community and conversation.

Thrive Forward Solutions is built around two complementary initiatives—one focused on direct community support, and the other on strengthening the systems and leaders who make that support possible.

Support for systems and leaders
Strengthening organizations, facilitators, and mission-driven teams

Training, consulting, and development
Programs, policies, workflows, and leadership tools that last

Trauma-informed, real-world approach
Grounded in lived experience and practical application

Capacity-building that respects people
Structure and sustainability without losing humanity

Values turned into practice
Helping good intentions become consistent, ethical impact

Real Talk Lounge

A Space for Honest Conversation

The Real Talk Lounge is a signature program space within Taking Initiative Now. It is where people come together for open, grounded, and meaningful conversations.

The Lounge focuses on identity, relationships, emotional awareness, resilience, purpose, and the experiences people rarely get space to talk about. Participation is always at your own pace—listening is welcome, sharing is optional, and growth happens naturally through presence and reflection. It is part community circle, part soft landing, and part momentum builder.

Our work is not measured by perfection or quick fixes. It is measured by progress over time. Participants often experience:

  • Greater self-awareness and emotional clarity

  • Stronger communication and boundary-setting skills

  • A sense of belonging and accountability

  • Increased confidence navigating life decisions

  • Sustainable momentum toward healthier choices

Books and written resources are part of the Thrive Forward ecosystem because learning continues beyond group spaces. Our publications explore themes such as mental health, masculinity, identity, resilience, and growth.

Books are never required—they are optional companions for those who want to reflect, learn privately, or go deeper at their own pace.

  • The Real Talk Lounge Book Club exists to create a shared reading experience that supports reflection, understanding, and conversation—without pressure, performance, or over-exposure.

    • Reading happens before the session

    • Sessions are facilitated, not open-mic

    • Sharing is optional

    • Listening is considered full participation

    • No clinical processing, advice-giving, or debate

  • What to Read

    Each session includes:

    • a short assigned reading (chapter, excerpt, or section)

    • clearly communicated page ranges

    • a defined theme for the week

Reading assignments are intentionally manageable and designed to fit into real schedules.

    Reading Expectations

    Participants are encouraged to:

    • read at their own pace

    • highlight or note anything that stands out

    • notice emotional or cognitive reactions (without analyzing them)

There is no requirement to finish the reading perfectly to attend.

  • We will ground the session with intentional theme framing, facilitate a guided and reflective discussion, and conclude with a structured closing focused on integration, personal insight, and practical takeaways participants can apply beyond the session.

— Natalie Goodfellow (Coauthored Chapter 15)
Men’s mental health is lagging behind. I wanted to shine a light in the dark. It helped me realize that even in hardship, beauty and purpose persist.
— Coach Zeke (Coauthored Chapter 4)
Men say ‘I’m fine’ while they’re bleeding inside.
